CALL FOR MARCHING BAND PERFORMANCE VIDEOS
For presentation at the CBDNA Southern Division Conference
February 24-27, 2010
University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS
Purpose
To provide a juried performance opportunity for college and university marching bands. Selected video performances will be shown at a session of the 2010 CBDNA Southern Division Conference.
Guidelines
Video from a single half-time performance by a college or university marching band between the dates 12/4/06 to 12/6/09 (one show/entry per band);
Multi-angle camera acceptable;
On 6 identical DVDs, clearly marked with institution, director, and performance date/location (include this application form);
Due 12/12/09;
Time limit of 10 minutes;
Bands selected for presentation will not be eligible again until the 2014 conference (a period of four years);
Directors of selected videos will be notified NLT 1/15/10; and
Directors of selected videos will be given a brief 60 second opportunity to introduce the performance at the 2010 conference.
